📖 Our Story

It all started with a YouTube video and an engagement ring.

In 2020, co-founders Kyle and Aleks Nussen found themselves enchanted by the world of tiny houses – a world where simplicity, sustainability and freedom weren’t just ideas, but a way of life. When Kyle proposed to Aleks with tiny house blueprints, the game was officially set! But as they embarked on their own tiny house journey, they quickly encountered a massive hurdle — the maze of tiny house zoning laws. They discovered that finding a legal and suitable place to park a tiny house was filled with inconsistencies and obstacles, varying drastically from state to state, zone to zone.

Realizing that their struggle was shared by so many in the tiny house community, Aleks and Kyle saw an opportunity to make a difference. Fueled by their passion for minimalist living and driven by the challenges they faced in finding suitable parking on their tiny home journey, they created ParkYourTiny.com.
